Clients requiring due diligence on BVI registered companies and individuals can find comprehensive research available to them.  In general reports can be returned within a period of 24 hours although, if certified copies of documents from any Government Branch are required, this time frame will increase.

Areas of research available include, but are not limited to, the BVI Register of Corporate Affairs, the BVI Financial Services Commission, the BVI High Court, the Land Registry Department, Department of Trade and Promotions

The BVI Register of Corporate Affairs is the body responsible for all matters pertaining to BVI registered companies.  The checking of information on BVI registered companies forms a vital part of the due diligence process. 

The BVI High Court Registry is the location in which details pertaining to civil suits against companies and individuals are lodged.  Should legal action by or against any entity be filed it is possible for copies of the originating document, any orders and the final judgment to be obtained.

Research with other Government departments and actual physical determination of location etc can also be done for clients requesting such assistance

• Confirmation of company registration, registered agent & office, current status with the BVI FSC, details of all corporate resolutions, mortgages and charges, certificates of good standing.  All official copies presented as PDF files, physical search report can be customised to meet individual client requirements.

• Confirmation of legal action, or a lack thereof, produced in customizable report format.  Copies of any documentation presented in PDF format.  Follow-up on current/open suits available.

• Actual physical search of any information held within the public domain, such as land registry, probate register, deeds, mortgages of land within the BVI.
